Dallas’ award winning, 66-acre, gem - The Dallas Arboretum is about to become more spectacular! From May 5, to November 5, 2012 The Dallas Arboretum will exhibit renowned artist Dale Chihuly’s striking, monumental, glass sculptures. This exhibition is presented by AT&T and made possible thanks to Bank of America.

“AT&T is proud to support this world-class exhibit at the Dallas Arboretum. Chihuly at The Dallas Arboretum will provide a memorable, educational and cultural experience not only for the children and adults in North Texas, but visitors across the state and beyond.” says Holly Reed, the regional vice president of AT&T.

Dale Chihuly is an artist and entrepreneur who is greatly inspired by nature. His designs are enjoyed by people of all ages and have been seen in over 200 galleries, gardens and venues around the world! He will create an original collection specifically for the landscapes and outstanding gardens at the arboretum.

This monumental event is expected to attract both local and out-of-state visitors. During the day the arboretum will offer educational tours, programs and classes for both children and adults and at night the arboretum will host Chihuly Nights, sponsored by Cirro energy. Chihuly Nights will feature illuminated sculptures and various dining options during the week, and garden hours will be extended to 10 p.m.

“This unique opportunity will not only bring a global cultural experience to the residents and visitors of Dallas but also provide significant economic impact that contributes to the local economy.” says Richard Holt, Dallas president of Bank of America.

The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden is located at 8525 Garland Road, Dallas, TX 75218.For more information about this six-month exhibit please call (214) 515-6500 or visit
